Dr. Lucas was brilliant when I needed his medical expertise for a heart condition and stroke. He did the TEE to check my heart and all follow up prescribing and went above and beyond. SO grateful!
Dr Lucas is not someone who I could recommend and we do not have many other cardiogists on the big Island. Best to find another DR. They do not understand we live on an island and you need to treat people with respect but as his staff told me they ate so busy she did not car...

Dr Lucas is an amazing doctor and healer. He listens attentively, answers our questions fully and has calming and reassuring ways that makes you feel better before taking any medicine. My husband has complicated health issues, and had a stroke two Christmas ago. Husband has aphasia and kept saying to me" I sorry" for 2 months. Would give negative stars if I could. This place seems to care more about their egos than about their patients. Was not thorough, took their sweet time and casually did things, while we are dealing with something very serious. I would not recommend any of my family or friends to come here. I have heard from many, including those who work in the medical field that this doctor is known to be pretty useless. Too bad we figured that out after having already established care here.
