Review is for December 2024. For the past few years I had a recurring, painful cyst on the back of my neck that was the size of a golf ball. It would come and go once a year, and when it was inflamed, the pain prevented me from laying on the couch and watching TV, and it affected my sleep. I was referred to Dr. Minnis from my dermatologist. Dr. Minnis was friendly and down to earth and he explained how he'd permanently remove my cyst. Dr. Minnis saved my life, so he gets an automatic five star rating from me :) But he’s an excellent doctor for other reasons as well. I came into the hospital frightened out of my mind and in terrible pain, not knowing what was happening. Dr. Minnis communicated very calmly and clearly, and helped me to understand my condition and what the options were. He performed major emergency surgery which was successful, and he was very attentive during my recovery over the following week in the hospital, making sure I was in good sha... read more
The lack of clarity and communication was dreadful. I cannot tell you how much I wish I had seen a different doctor. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else.
Had really good experience with Dr Minnis. In my initial exam he explained exactly what he would do during my surgery and why. He answered all my questions and gave me confidence. Surgery went well. I am very happy and satisfied with my experience.
Horrible. Lack of detail is appalling.
