I have tried for several months to overlook Dr. Domst's idiocincracies, but when I saw him yesterday it was the last straw. I have been seeing a wide variety of doctors for over 50 years and I've had some real good ones and some I've had to leave because of ineptitude. This one is about as inept as they get! First of all, I can't deal with his Aspergers Syndrome another day. I have people in my family with that syndrome, so I understand it, but I need my doctor to be "all there" when talking to him (or her) and not go off on... read more
What Dr. Domst lacks in confidence he makes up with in knowledge and continuing education. He only works part time to better manage his life with a family. He also has a small farm so considering all things, he does quite well.
Dr. James Domst has always been very professional. Mostly thoughtful on my medical concerns. Has responded to my requests in a timely manner. Even though I have very few physical issues. He is down to business, asking questions and providing sound advise. He is not judgemental, but has good thoughts on actions that will improve ones health.
I will never go to him again. he wanted to take me off pain meds. I had no physical dependance, He didn't ask me ANY questions, he told me he could tell "by the look on my face" I was psychologically dependent on opiates. I talked to a clinical psychologist. He was making it up. I'm paying him to tell me silly easily provable lies. I said I was in more pain when not on meds. He said I had opiate induced hyper analgesia. He knew I was going up to 3 weeks without any meds. Another obvious lie.
Dr. James E. Domst, MD has a 3.5 star rating with 6 reviews.
