In 1997, Dr. Recabaren insisted on performing a Nephrectomy on my fiance, without performing any tests to confirm he actually had kidney cancer (the radiology reports suggested additional diagnostics be performed), and without allowing time to get a second opinion. During surgery, it was discovered that it was NOT kidney cancer, it was Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. The surgery should never have happened. While I can't review the doctor himself, I will say the front office woman who took my call today was incredibly rude, you'd think I woke her up to bother her. She cut me off to tell me (with attitude) they do not accept my insurance and sounded tired of having to tell people they don't. Very matter of fact with no apology you'd expect or even have a nice day just an abrupt Bye! Actually glad I won't have to deal with her!
Dr Recabaren removed a tumor two months ago . He was skilled , great bedside manner and his office had incredible follow up.
Immensely talented surgeon. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
