Kept my appointment to 10 minutes in a dismissive and accusatory manner. Days later, the practice drafted a letter terminating me as a patient at 18 weeks pregnant, even though Dr. Benes Dettmer had facilitated that I make a follow-up appointment. This goes beyond bedside manner to constitute retaliation without warning. I will forever look back on this appointment with feelings of shame, sadness, and overall humiliation.
Dr. Benes is fairly new to the Stamford practice. I've had the same dr. for 22 years but wanted to switch to a woman. She was fantastic. I felt like she listened to me and asked the right questions. My test results required a second appointment and she made sure to get me in quickly and got me the results in a couple of days (calling me personally). I am happy I switched!
