I feel so fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Zhang from my ER visit at SMH for my broken wrist. His receptionist took great care of all the subsequent scheduling and I always felt that I was in very capable hands. Dr. Zhang was very knowledgeable, thorough, listened to all my questions and concerns, and gave me all the pros and cons of surgery on my wrist. I need to have a minor surgery on my ankle. My family doctor had sent my X-ray and ultrasound to Dr. Zhang in advance. He instructed the front desk to book an appointment for me. I took two hours of sick leave, and on a hot midday, I paid for parking and arrived at the clinic. After waiting for more than 20 minutes, I saw Dr. Zhang. Dr. Jacques Zhang is an amazing surgeon. After a major hand injury, we went to the ER, and he came in while on call. From the moment we met him, his calm presence, compassion, and confidence gave us reassurance during a very stressful experience.
