I love Dr. Van Ryn. I had to have a labrum repair/capsular shift in both my shoulders about 10 years ago. I have joint hypermobility syndrome and it helped me so much. I got my life back. I actually googled him to see if he was still in Missouri because I'm having similar issues with my hips now and he's the only orthopedic surgeon that ever took me seriously. I'd still be in severe pain from my shoulders if it wasn't for this doctor. Highly recommend him. He is a very pleasant man as well.
This doctor crippled me for life. He ran to another practice once this was discovered.
Dr. Van Ryn is great. He's caring and shows compassion for his patients. He answered all of my questions, and went further to explain, in detail what was going on and what needed to be done and why. I would recommend him, (which I have) to family and friends.
