I first met Dr. Gelman at South Suburban hospital with an injury of my wrist and forearm years ago. He was very helpful, supportive, and seemed to genuinely care about my health and wellbeing. He has a wonderful patient first attitude, and is only interested in his patients’ care and not the politics of the healthcare reform or insurance agencies. He believes in going over all the options available, and will try all conservative care first, instead of just jumping to surgery. I trust Dr. Gelman

This past April, Dr Gelman performed my abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). He answered all my questions, which calmed my nerves. He was very professional as was his office staff. Dr. Gelman is very funny and personable. His prices are comparable , plus he's centrally located - and I live in the city. Hopefully, I don't need any more plastic surgery, but if I did, there would be no questions as to where I'd go.

Dr gelman is extremely personable and made me feel very comfortable both before and after my surgery. I had consults with other surgeons and he was by far the best and really helped me understand what was best for me and what would be happening every step of the way. My results ... phenomenal!!
