Dr Berger was patient and kind. He answered any of my questioned whether or not I repeated myself or didn’t understand. I was sorry to hear he was retiring. Happy retirement Dr Berger!
Very difficult to get follow-up appointments with, inflexible scheduling, doesn't seem very interested in patient care and wellness, unresponsive to questions.
I've been seeing Dr. Berger since 1999. He is THE BEST. None better!
Originally impressed as Dr. Berger took the time to discuss my mild arthritis in my fingers. He prescribed a medication, took X-Rays and blood tests. What he told me after the fact was that once on this medication, I would have to endure ongoing blood tests for the rest of my life if I chose to stay on this. I asked for Celebrex, which I was told by a Cardiologist and Hand Surgeon, pose the least risk to heart health for extended use, but is not always covered without a written appeal, and he refused and told me to have the ... read more
Dr. Jack Berger is one in a million. He has managed my rheumatoid arthritis in the most caring and professional way possible for the last 5 years. He is quick to respond to any communication and concerns working together to treat and diagnose in a calm and gentle manner. The most caring and reassuring doctor who is healing just bring in his presence.
