I'm submitting this review about six weeks after rotator cuff surgery performed by Dr. Otteni. Dr. Otteni is probably the finest surgeon that has ever operated on me, and I've had a few. Not only is he and his staff very professional and patient centered, he's a very good surgeon. I've experienced very little pain and discomfort, no swelling and everything has healed quite nicely. If you require an orthopedic surgeon, I highly recommend him and his team.
He is another Dr secretove at RMH. He doesn't listen to his patients. Cuts them off when they are talking. Very rude. Need better Drs. I'm going somewhere else.
Excellent doctor. Very knowledgeable and personable. Can't believe someone gave him a 2 because of aproblem with office personnel. Not fair at all
Dr. Otteni was straightforward, clear and professional in his interaction with me. He was recommended to me and now I know why. I was expecting him to schedule surgery on my knee but he surprised me by LISTENING to my symptoms, watching me walk and checking my range of motion. Then taking into consideration my MRI and x-rays, he prescribed an anti-inflammatory twice daily and physical therapy to strengthen my knee. How refreshing to find a surgeon who has my best interests in mind! I highly recommend him!
I really like Dr. Otteni, but it does little good if I can’t see him in a reasonable amount of time. I guess this business is like fast food, restaurants, and not enough people working to keep up with the clientele. Or possibly, it’s related to me being a Medicare patient.
