Agree w a prior post. I was sent by my pcp to get a cortisone shot from him and instead he offered a new procedure not covered by insurance. I went 6 mo back and forth w insurance and was finally denied. In the meantime my pain wasn’t remotely addressed and it went away after about a year. A cortisone shot could have saved me 6months of discomfort. The doctor has poor bedside manners as well and has an entitled attitude that doesn’t relate to patients well. No compassion at all. Treats you like he doesn’t understand each pat... read more

Do not go to this doctor! He has zero empathy and no knowledge of basic body functions. He cannot read MRI correctly, does not maintain eye contact with the patient, and does not look up from the computer screen even once during a 30 minute session. The patient has extreme back pain and he had no solution or recommendations at all. He is supposed to be a specialist but he had zero suggestion for relief. He is a text book doctor and cannot diagnose source of back pain at all!! Worst doctor I have encountered and extremely rud... read more

I had a bad tailbone injury in 2020, I saw multiple doctors, chiropractors, joined yoga, saw a pelvic floor physical therapist and a different spine surgeon who recommended pain management. I have it one last shot with Dr J Scott Price. He was the first person to X-ray and take me seriously. I had my tailbone removed and my 2 years of chronic pain are gone! I can not be happier with the outcome.

Dr. Price is low key. I checked his reputation well ahead of making an appointment. He’s known for being very meticulous and he won’t do surgery unless it’s evidence-based and necessary. Post-surgery, I felt immediate relief after years of pain. His reputation stands--my surgery was perfect after 30+ years of conservative options, I feel absolutely great! If I could, I’d give him 25 stars.
