After doing business with this vendor for more than 20 yrs., I was sold a pair of eyeware for $1000., which were wrongly fitted , REFUSING A REFUND ? ; !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thought I had an eye infection after burning and watering started the night before. Called my family doctor and they said to contact my optometrist. Called shortly after 9am and they were able to get me in at 11am. Dr. Nardone diagnosed and quickly found a metal particle in the affected eye. Removed and prescribed drops to avoid any infection. I wish all medical issues could be resolved this quickly.
I am giving this rating to Dr. Nardone specifically - my family and myself had been seen by his associates and they did a terrific examination. Dr. Chow and Dr. Bering were very good but there does not appear to be any other associates at the moment. I called to book an appointment for my eldest adult son, who has a chronic illness and it involved going to Toronto to pick him up and bring him to the appointment, as he was experiencing double vision. Had an awful experience with this company. Front line staff are amazing, very welcoming and helpful….. and sadly that is where it ends! Unfortunate as I have been going to this Optometrist for well over 8 years. Will not go there ever again . Went there for my annual eye exam and as I had suffered a concussion after a motor vehicle accident needed prescription sunglasses due to light sensitivity. Was examined by Dr Kalkat who has a terrible bedside manner, comes across as very rude and dismissive. It felt like such an effort... read more
