Update September 2025- I was very saddened to hear Elizabeth no longer works here. All of a sudden she was gone and she was such a bonus to go here! No one is saying anything about why she suddenly left the office she had worked at for such a long time!! Not only did he meet my expatiations, he went over and beyond! He operated on me and I had full confidence in his expertise. I had 3 hernias/with mesh surgery and his continued thoughtfulness carried through for days! He personally returns calls himself, and he is the first doctor I have ever been to that did that. I sought out and went to Dr. Rula because of his stellar reputation as a surgeon -- having him as my surgeon was everything I expected and much more. Dr. Rula has extraordinary technical and communication skills. He has a manner that allows him to listen to the concerns of the patient (and family) and then explain, in careful, understandable detail exactly what to expect before, during and after surgery. Highly recommended this Doctor and his medical team. Didn’t want hernia mesh. He was fantastic. Great communication fantastic bedside manner. Listened to my concerns and did a wonderful job. It has been a year now no issues at all. Can’t thank him enough for elective surgery.
