If you are seeking an Endocrinologist to assist with your thyroid issues, do NOT go see Syoufi. If you are overweight he will ignore your thyroid issues and only discuss how you need to lose weight. I was a patient of Dr. Syoufi's and I needed a thyroid biopsy. Instead of sending me to a medical facility that specializes in biopsys, he chose to do the biopsy himself. He told me he would not be numbing the area because by the time it was numb, the biopsy could be over. This should have been the first clue: putting his needs over the patient's needs. I started going to this office in September just to start at a new practice. I have thyroid cancer with no thyroid. Obviously have been under care of Endo for the last 15 years. My other physician left the office. Anyhow I went for my first appointment and was feeling absolutely great, had been on same thyroid dose for 3 years.
