My mother, who is an immigrant that has lived here for 30 years, came to see her about some of her health issues. When asking Dr Batool questions, she was dismissed, saying that she needed a Chinese interpreter. My mother is not Chinese and speaks very clear English. I am incredibly disgusted by this comment and dismissal, especially coming from a health practitioner.
