Although he is good at his profession and seems like a nice person, he becomes quick-tempered and curt easily.
I've been a patient of Dr Merkel for 15 years. He's simply the best!
I have NEVER written a review about anyone but I must say, Dr Merle is by far the most arrogant, rude Doctor I have ever met… told me my pain might be in my head…asked me if I was in an abusive relationship…curt and nasty
I have been seeing Dr. Merkel for over 10 years and have always found him to be a caring and honest physician that is also a straight shooter about your condition and does everything to resolve issues. He contacts colleagues to help when necessary and is very dedicated to his profession. That has been my experience! I am surprised reading some of the negative reviews Dr. Merkel has received. You can't please everybody.
Curt and arrogant

Dr. Merkel is extremely caring and takes time to explain concerns/procedures to put the patient at ease. I often recommend him to family, friends and neighbors.
Dr. Merkel truly cares about his patient's total health. He strives to ensure that the patient gets the best care possible. I literally trust him with my life.
My experience with Dr. Merkel over the past years has been outstanding. He continues to be an extraordinary doctor who provides his patients with quality service demonstrated through comfort and a knowledge of his specialty. The nursing staff has exemplified great character and professionalism which makes his office a welcoming environment. I would like to personally thank Veronica and Jackie for their kind and caring nature.
