I’m in hospital after having a mini stroke drop in oxygen cardio problems, headache ear pain and hearing loss. This doctor was consulted. I read the reviews, but I remained hopeful. She walked into my room and said you have migraine headaches, would you like me to give you something for them? Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of positive things to say about Dr. Acosta. I was recently hospitalized at AdventHealth, Orlando, and Dr. Acosta was the Neurologist assigned, as I was an ER Admit. Once the MRI's were completed, I wanted to talk with Dr. Acosta about my results, but rather than discuss the findings of my MRI's with me, she sent the Hospitalist, Dr. Erin McMillan Werner, to talk with me, go over my results, and discharge me. This Dr is rude, dismissive and sarcastic. Her bedside manner is horrific. If she doesn’t understand something, then it must be wrong or misdiagnosed. She does not have deep knowledge of MS and needs to get some mentoring from Drs in compassionate care.
