Unfortunately I can not say I ever met or spoke with Dr. Gujral personally. After setting a phone consult for the earliest 2 weeks out, I called at the time of appointment and was told the doctor was running a few minutes late and to just wait for her to call. After waiting almost 2 hours later I still had not call! I left a message that evening, and never received a call the next day. Dr. Nav Gujral helped me with my stomach issues for 4 years. Other doctors from Kaiser cannot help me with my gastrointestinal problems. Three visits she was able to guide me on what I needed to do. A very caring and concern doctor. Highly recommended.
This Dr. gave me a handful of wrong diagnosis after ordering tests and procedures. She said she did not find diverticulosis on my colonoscopy but "maybe you have it." She said I have autoimmune hepatitis, then changed her diagnosis to fatty liver, and then back to "maybe you have it." She left the country for two months without informing her patients and then decided not to take my insurance upon returning. Her MA, Brenda, is the rudest person I've ever encountered in the medical field. Avoid.
I have been going to her for years. I have had polyps since an early age and other medical issues with my liver that need a doctor that will make sure as a patient you don't fall through the cracks. As an Rn her beside manner is amazing and always asks how you are not just as a patient. If you need a GI she is well worth the drive to San Clemente!!!
Dr Gujral has been a life changer in terms of taking care of me. She's very thorough and quick in looking for answers and getting you on the right path to getting better. I've never had to wait when seeing her and the staff is extremely helpful and nice.
Dr. Gujral and her entire staff are exceptional! I was due for my first colonoscopy and was very nervous about the entire process. From handling the insurance paperwork, to the consolation to explain the procedure, to the sedation, and to finally completing the procedure Dr Gujral and her entire staff were the best. Nobody enjoys going to the doctor, but if you have gastro issue I highly recommend Dr. Gujral.
