Dr Park is ignorant and inappropriate. He suggested Hospice for my father in law who was in Boswell Hospital with kidney failure that he has been living with for years, but he's NOT dying, not in pain, still walks around and makes his own breakfast every day...As a healthcare professional myself, I was very offended by his Hospice suggestion. For some patients that is what is needed, but NOT in this case. He will write your loved one off, simply because of age, even if they are still thriving. Do better Dr Park!!
My husband had this hospitalist assigned to him and he was completely ineffective.
Waited for him to evaluate patient. No response and evidently off at 7:00 so never came. Mother in need of comfort care permission from doctor. No pain meds as nurse cannot administer without his physical visit to patient.
