If you are being treated for MS, better to go to an MS specialist. He is not current on treatment options and made a medication change that the MS specialist at Penn strongly disagreed with. Does not know what 'restricted diffusion' on MRI means. He also spent much of our appointment time talking about his personal matters.
Dr. Porotov listened to all of my concerns, made me feel much better about my condition and laid out a course of action for further testing and treatment.
Dr. Porotov diagnosed my CSF Leak and quickly got me on the road to recovery. As I learned more about CSF I see that many others with this condition suffer for years.
Not bloody likely, mate. Lots of visits and lots of copays. Things keep getting worse. He's in the dark about my condition, so he's throwing the kitchen sink at it. Attentive and straight forward
Dr. Porotov is quite possibly the best doctor I've ever seen. He is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also an excellent communicator. Upon examination, he is both a very thorough listener and asks all the right questions to assess and diagnose. And where some neurologists can be intimidating, he is very down to earth and friendly.
Dr. Porotov is a thorough, patient neurologist who takes the time to listen to what the patient has to say and carefully explains what he finds.
