While I was active duty in Lejeune, Dr. Stolldorf performed an intracorneal lens implant on both of my eyes as I was not a candidate for laser correction. The entire process from initial assessment to the final surgery was completely painless both metaphorical and literally. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and knowledgeable. Now, years later, I have had 0 side effects/adverse effects, and have a life changing correction from 20/800 to 20/10 vision that has not changed.

I’m retired Navy, on Medicare and Social Security. My vision had deteriorated significantly due to cataracts so it was time for surgery. I spent over a year visiting three (3) different cataract surgeons before deciding on Dr. Stolldorf at Horizon Eye Care. Those surgeons included doctors Jaben, Rheinbolt and Kansupada, all from CEENTA. They all had great online reviews. This is an amazing facility! He walked me through the entire process. There was no apprehension what so ever. The staff is very accommodating.

My wife suggested Dr Stolldorf after her first visit, and she has very high standards for healthcare. I was hesitant to change because I didn’t have any issues with my previous eye dr, they were just further away. I was beyond pleased with the extra care given by Dr Stolldorf. I had to have my cataracts removed, and I couldn’t have trusted anyone more. The attention and thoroughness he gives to his patients is exceptional. The surgical team he uses is also well chosen. Definitely a great choice to put your eyes in his hands!
