Be very careful if you go to him for a procedure. He doesn’t truly give informed consent. He also makes very large incisions- the one he did for a carpal tunnel release was 5 times longer thsn the one on my other wrist. I did not want a huge incision like that and would not have agreed to it.
Dr Hung Vu told my husband he had gout in the wrist. He gave him Endomyicin, a wrist brace and said to come back in six weeks. Two days later, our cardiologist diagnosed a severe bone infection, inserted a pic line to the heart and my husband had to get 42 infusions. He would have died had he not had a second opinion.
Sorry doctor!! Loser he is lazy and doesn't know what he's doing! I will be calling whoever I have to to let them know how he kicks people down.dont even go to him
I have seen Dr. Hung Vu in Ruidoso after breaking my ankle in Lincoln County, NM. He has been amazing. What I wrote to my sons (one of whom is an Emergency Medicine physician and the other well-versed in medicine) after seeing him was that Dr. Vu clearly has a boatload of valuable experience, and that I liked how he talked with and engaged with me. As I’ve seen him more, I have come to appreciate his sense of helping me know what is happening and what I need, and also his delightful sense of humor. Truly a Gem in Ruidoso!
Dr Vu rebuilt my ankle for me. He and his staff did a fantastic job. He's a man of few words. Don't go there expecting him to hold your hand, but you can trust him to do his job and fix you if you break yourself. I will return to him to have the hardware removed and I would certainly recommend him to anyone that needs his skills.
