My dad was hospitalized at HCA Tomball which was issue #1. Once there he was put under the "care" of Dr Dollar. And I'll use the term care loosely. Upon initial diagnosis, I or someone in the family expected Dollar to either call or maybe come by my father's room while we visited every day. After 2 or 3 days of not knowing what he looked like, we went to Google and see 2.9 stars. Surely this can't be right? We'll I'm going to tell you he absolutely killed that 2.9. I am giving this bad of a review due to the fact that doctor dollar has the most unprofessional staff. I was told that they didn’t have time to wait on hold to get the pre authorization done that he needed for his diabetic medication and they didn’t know how to send it through the computer. What are they even working there for at that point? Had a pleasant experience at this office. First with Melody and then with Dr. Dollar. I wanted my hormones checked after having two doctors deny the request. I felt like Melody was able to set the science aside and actually listed to the simple request of a patient. After all, if I am willing to par for it, why even deny the request? I addressed some concerns with Dr. Dollar for which he offered a prescription. I appreciated that he was respectful when I declined.
