I began my journey with stage 4 prostate cancer 5 years ago and Dr Tan has been with me the whole way. He has been a wonderful guide from the confusion and uncertainty of initial diagnosis and treatment, and all the ups and downs that have followed. Oddly enough I look forward to seeing this extremely capable professional at my 12 weekly appointments, which almost always involves humour. Hsiang is a good man. I trust him and like him very much.
March 2021...Shock 1 PSA over 2000! Shock 2 Stage 4 metastatic.. Enter Dr Tan, straightforward, caring, supremely professional. August 2023. PSA 0.015, manageable care program, no metases and minimal nodes. Despite how busy Hsien is I always feel he is 100% focused on my care (and survival...), prepared to listen and take into account my views, but still drive the right care framework. thanks mate.
Dr Tan has been a major part of my prostate cancer journey since February, 2018, when I was diagnosed as stage 4. He is the most caring medical professional I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. With his genuine interest in my health and well being, I am now free of all metastases and going well. If you are looking for a skillful and knowledgeable Oncologist, I can thoroughly recommend Dr Tan.
Dr Tan is a wonderful, talented and caring oncologist who has guided me through the last (difficult) four years of prostate cancer with compassion and skill. And, I'm still around to see him every six months (fingers crossed).
