I had a horrible experience with this doctor. I"m glad he's gone from this practice. Rude and unprofessional. Bad day? dont care. My mother is elderly and he was uninformed on her case (tho he'd been seeing her WITHOUT me for years) and unbelievably unwilling to order her an MRI. Threw the order at me and stormed out.
I have had chronic pain since hip replacement surgery two years ago. The surgery went well but I developed bursitis and sciatica afterwards. Other orthopedist have been dismissive or worse. Dr Hirsch gave me a shot in the bursa during my first visit and has me on medication for the sciatica. He listens. And he is down to earth and caring.
My husband and I both see this doctor. We both have positive experience with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and wait times are minimal. Glad to have him as one of our doctors.
