It would be one thing if treatment started and finished with Dr Mason, unfortunately there's contact with his front desk. I've never experienced such disregard from office staff, especially from a psychiatric office. My expectations are not unreasonable, they should be in any job description. Answer the phone, return calls, communicate changes, follow through, confidence that messages are accurate. I made an appointment 4 months in advance. On the day of the appointment, I went in and was told my appointment was cancelled. I asked why and it was because they could not get a hold of me. They had the incorrect phone number which made no sense since they had to call me to set up the appointment since no one answers the phone at his office. Dr. Mason is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. He does not seem to really care about me as a patient, and hurries thru each appointment. The staff also comes across as rude and not helpful. There have been times when I've called needing immediate help only to receive a phone call days later asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment a few weeks away. Beware of this doctor/practice.

I feel that Dr. Howard's staff are rude and unhelpful. Example: I called three times in one week for a prescription when I was in great distress, with no return phone calls. Only on the 3rd call was I told he was out of town. When I asked to speak to his back up, I was literally told that "No one" could help me. I asked why I wasn't told that Dr. Mason was out of town when I called orig. 5 days earlier and there was no apology, no excuse, nothing.
