Had many construction issues: poor concrete work which they did patch but has now cracked on curb, cracks in drywall above master bath walkin closet door, poor backyard drainage with standing water, small wall damage in drywall in a few locations, home came with no bath vanity lights just cheap dome lights (very strange), no light above the guest bath tub, other issues too that the inspector found. We previously purchased a DR horton home in Tennessee and the process wa horrible. We never thought we would buy DR again. However we still did. And we are so glad we did. We love our new home in the Leland area and our neighborhood manager Matt Harvey is the best. Any issue we have had, whether big or small he responds right away and shows up to troubleshoot when he can. Math has truly changed our outlook on DR ad a whole.
You can see the photos below for reference on the quality of work done. Very cheap materials used throughout the house and a lot of cosmetic issues as well. Look at all these cracks. Also, very high humidity levels. Each time it rains my humidity is at 70% or high. Even on a normal day it's 65% or above. Problem has yet to be resolved after 9 months now. Outside foundation has multiple cracks and the front concrete.
