I’m another in the, “bought DR Horton new five years ago, the level of shoddy work I’ve noticed over the years is amazing,” camp. I’m about six hours into a bathroom fan replacement because the original was not connected to the vent. So, the flat bathroom paint is severely warped. Want to share my opinion about Dr Horton homes. We bought a new build home almost 2 years ago in the begging everything was OK but not anymore. We have squeaky floors through out entire home. Cabinets that are shaking, mismatch paint on cellings and walls, poor paint job on all the baseboard, shower pan that is not secured properly, tile work that is not level and much more. On the 1 year warranty we waited them more than 2 months to repair some minor defects,they refused to paint the ceilling where from the begging was noti... read more
