I had an over the phone appointment with Dr. Bhakta as i had concerns about my blood pressure being in the 200 but to him i was just a little girl worried about my blood pressure than was going to get a stress test done never did he honestly should even be a dr
He won't send me my medical records. He's playing games with my life. He's either trying to hide the fact that he turned my body completely purple for four months from trying to do a pacemaker battery change on me, or he's mad because I wrote some honest, but bad reviews about him. Denying medical records is against the law, and the oath he took to become a doctor. Bhakta will not release my medical records to me in a hard-copy or disc. This office told my 95 year old dad not to come back for a year after him waiting a month to get checked after ablation. They do not care!! Awful service.
Was referred to Dr Bhakta by another cardiologist for consultation for ablation. I'm not a good candidate for medication because have bradycardia/low blood pressure and my afib comes and goes. Was admitted to the hospital where they did an echo. He wanted to prescribe me a medication that even shocked the nurse who said it could drop my blood pressure dangerously low. Dr. Bhakta did a great job with my first ever health exam. He explained everything to me in a very clear manner. He was also kind and friendly. All of the staff was great – they were helpful, patient and helped with any questions I had.
The doctor changed the frequency of some medication...but never bothered to tell me. When I ran out of medication, my insurance would not pay for refill because it was too soon. After 7 years of same Dosage of pills, wouldn't you think the doctor would inform his patient of a change? Apparently not this doctor. If you take your doctor/patient relationship seriously you may want to seek help elsewhere
The staff at Doctor Bhakta's office are unfriendly, uncaring and some are even incompetent. It took more than 4 months to get an approval for a simple procedure (nuclear stress test). In the end it was the knowledgeable and kind nurses at Desert Regional Hospital that were able to determine the incorrect code was being submitted over and over. I felt like I was bothering them. Do not expect to receive a phone call back until the next day at the earliest...if at all.
DR. BHAKTKA WAS A WONDERFUL DOCTOR. VERY NICE MAN, KNOWS HIS BUSINESS AND TREATED ME WITH RESPECT AND EXCELLENT TREATMENT.
Horrible doctor who destroyed my heart by freezing my vagus nerve during a cryoablation and then tried to cover it up. Terrible office staff and the doctor will NEVER return a phone call…even in an emergency.
