I love Dr. Abellard! He's kind, knowledgeable, sensitive, with an excellent ear for what a patient needs. Even works with patients when problems arise. I have been seeing him for over a decade and feel very close to the doctor like he really sees me.

We started a year ago with Dr Abellard, to continue med management for an 18 yrs old with off-the-charts ADHD+ other issues, but good behavior overall. The doc is a good listener, focuses on key points. helpful for meds and advice, does not force talk therapy with an uncooperative patient. Pleased so far after years of ups and downs with other docs.

Doctor was lovely during first appointment. Son has ADD and was trying meds for first time. I kept upping the dose as he directed and called as he directed once we hit 40mg as the drug wasn't working and I was worried about side effects (high blood pressure for a teen). Called 4 times. He ghosted me IN THE MIDDLE OF PRESCRIPTION DRUG TREATMENT. Never called back. Dr. Abellard should have his medical license revoked. When they do answer the phone (pretty rare), the staff are very nice and empathetic. I feel sorry for them.

Receptionists both male & female is not nice or professional, they get annoyed very easily. I have been with this doctor for almost 4 years, my meds were changed & I had a reaction. The doctor will not fill out my employment paperwork. When I was in his office he told me the paperwork was filled out & sent. When I spoke to his receptionist over the phone she said the paperwork was not filled out. I like the doctor but one thing I don’t like is to be looked in the eyes & lied to.

I have been a patient of his for many years. Being a professional myself i can honestly say its a safe haven. You are treated with respect. Dr. Abellard is one of those real doctors. Not one whom looks at you like a payment. He talks, listens and most of all comprehends. He cares a quality that is very hard to find these day. From one of your many favorite patients. Smile
