Dr. Stephens I can honestly say has been one of the best doctors in my life time. Currently some of my doctors don’t spend near enough time as I need. My disease causes a lot of havoc in my life, but Dr. Stephens has improve my quality immensely, even when I have a setback caused by other illnesses, Dr. Stephens has forged through to get my disease back on track. She has been my doctor for 8 1/2 year and I dread the day if she were to leave or I were to move which isn’t in the near future that I would have to get another doc... read more

Dr. Hera Stephens has been kind, compassionate, and is one of the few doctors that dug deeper to find the cause of many of my issues. It takes a while to get your first appointment, but the efficiency of the office staff, and the knowledge of the doctor make it well worth the wait. It's difficult to get good care anywhere in our area and I see many reviews that give low ratings because of wait times. That's just unfair and is no reflection on the actual doctors and staff that really do a great job.
Terrible system. Took me two months after my referral was submitted to get USF to process the referral. After finally getting the referral processed, I was told they have no appointments for the next year. Nor would they tell me when appointments will open up in the future. What a terrible practice. I can only imagine how bad the in-office service would have been based on my phone interactions.
My experience with Dr. Hera Stephens was bad enough that I discontinued the appointment. And judging by past reviews I made the right choice. Last year I was scheduled for a nerve conduction study (where they put needles into your nerves and run electric current through it). I have autism and ptsd and gave the nurse my psychologist letter that outlined my accommodations. I was set up in the testing room, put on the hospital gown, and I waited. And waited. And waited.
