When I first met Dr H Kalapala at the Edward Hines VA, I was a train wreck. My health was bad, my breathing was horrible, my general and back pain was bad, and my groin area was hurting and not healing in 5 months time. She immediately sent me for X-Rays (found 2 broken pelvic bones), put me on blood pressure meds because my blood pressure was high, diagnosed me with Asthma and sent me for a Pulmonary Consult, reviewed my meds, ordered blood work, reviewed and adjusted meds.
