Maybe I’m just old and cranky, but when you walk into a doctor’s office as a new patient, stand at the reception window, and get absolutely no acknowledgment of your existence, it’s not a very good first impression. I know you saw me. Two people looked directly at me. I completely understand if you’re busy, but it takes one second to say, “Good morning. Henry Matthew Vanpala, AGNP-C has been my primary care provider for over 5 years. He is kind and patient, quick to follow up with test results and feedback and suggestions for improvement in my health care. And, Deborah, the office manager is a office manager rockstar. Deborah is compassionate, kind and professional. Also, the nurse (cannot recall her name) is so kind and nice. Great team. 11 out of 10 stars
