The Dr. Henry N. Payne Museum is a must-see in Cow Head. From dramatic tales like the Double Axe Murders to rich displays of women’s everyday lives, it offers a vivid glimpse into Newfoundland’s history and culture. Friendly, welcoming, and full of stories you won’t find anywhere else.
Superbement bien conservé. Les artefacts sont incroyable avec des histoires a couper le souffle. De plus, les deux jeunes présents pour nous accueillir etaient très poli et agréable.
I was there for work. The museum is doing renovation, and it's going to be amazing when it reopens.
Such a lovely place and a stellar tour by a knowledgeable and fun young Cow Head resident.
