Felt like he never looked at my info until I was sitting across the desk from me. Didn’t know basic stuff about the procedures I was going through. When I got frustrated, he started making smart ass comments. I tried just having my normal doc do my blood work but now needing to find another endo. Wouldn’t go to propst if he was the last one
Unfortunately, for Dr. Prost, his office staff is remarkably horrible! I tried calling to discuss a scheduling issue I was having and instead of listening to me and trying to help me in order to get the medication I greatly need, I was consistently interrupted while I was speaking and then talked down to very condescendingly. As difficult as it is to find a good endocrinologist in our area, I will take my chances with my tumor in order to avoid dealing with his office staff again.
I am wildly disappointed in this office. Dr. Prost is fine, but the office staff is ridiculous. Don't ever expect a return or even a courtesy call when they arbitrarily change your medication with no explanation. I've had to reach out to the Office Manager twice and both times she seemed perturbed that I was contacting her. I have been dealing with this behavior for a couple of years and have decided that it's probably time to change doctors.
They NEVER answer the phones or call back. We have been waiting now going on 3 weeks for the referral. We went in person to see what was going on. We gave them all the information they needed again. The front desk informed us that it would take 7 to 10 business days. I left a message for the office manager, referral coordinator and scheduling dept. No one has called us back. Doctor is good but staff is horrible and utterly incompetent. They are non responsive, lazy and entitled and have no interest in promptly helping patients navigate insurance and scheduling issues. They just don't care. My suggestion is find another physicians office that actually cares about their patients and addresses ALL of their patients needs.
