I have worked with Dr. Martarella for over 3 years. She has helped me in immeasurable ways. For me she is a great fit. I am so sorry to read the other review regarding triggering tech issues, that has to feel terrible and scary. I have had tech issues, but I have had a lot of virtual online appts and have had tech issues with other providers, so for me, it was not unacceptable. Today I experienced a first an assessment by Dr. Heather Martarella; I’d like to say, it was the best part of my day! Thanks for the time, thanks for the resources.
Dr. Martarella is a very knowledgable expert on sleep. However, I sadly do not think she is an emotionally safe practitioner. I am a social worker and find her communication style really troubling. I had a panic attack off camera in a session after Dr. Maratella talked at me for 45 minutes straight about my other medical issues that are outside her scope of practice.
