My husband and I had this scan several years ago and I am convinced it saved his life. The scan showed extensive cardio vascular disease. He had no physical signs of a problem but armed with the scan, saw a cardiologist. He passed the EKG with no problem but the high calcium score cause the cardiologist to do another test and he found 3 blockages. My husband got 3 stints and changed his diet, quite smoking and is doing just fine now. We thank this scan for finding his problem before he had a heart attack.
