Dr. Lee actually listened to what I had to say, answered all my questions, and treated me as a human being. Many psychiatrists I've seen look at my diagnosis& treat me as the dsm suggests. Dr. Lee worked with me to find something that worked.
I saw Dr. Lee for a couple of years at Central City Mental Health. She was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise backward setting: intelligent, a good listener, caring -- and not as ideologically driven as some doctors can be. I think psychiatry would benefit from more doctors like Ms. Lee who are willing to listen and learn from patients' experiences rather than simply preach.
