Horrible. I had a kidney stone that wouldn't pass. He wouldn't give me pain killers before my surgery! I was in complete agony and had to go to an emergency clinic for relief. In fact, I was hallucinating and may have had a kidney infection that was on the verge of going sepsis. I was so scared. When I returned after the surgery, he removed the stent IN HIS OFFICE without any painkillers whatsoever, just yanked it out! I screamed and he acted surprised! I mean! First time meeting with Dr. Tsai. I really appreciate the time he took to listen to me, review old medical records and recommend an MRI on my kidneys and a Cysrocopy next month. I feel very comfortable with him and everyone in the office.
I was just at an appointment with my mother, and was a bit horrified by the care she received from Dr Tsai. We were early for the appointment, but he spent at best 60 seconds with her, no one asked about what medications she was on, he handed her a bag of samples to take with no discussion about side effects, what would be helpful about this particular drug, no instructions on how many or when to take them. Borderline unethical staff. Dr. Tsai ordered a CAT scan. I called for the results. Staff refused to discuss my results with me until my next appointment in 27 days. These results may affect other medical discussions (which I mentioned), not even considering the worry/wait. There's no reason to withhold my own results - unless they are driving me back in for more billable hours?
