Dr. Harold Thompson who is a Radiologist at Vandy and the VA is a wonderful caring very intelligent Radiologist. Google needs to remove these bad ratings for some other Dr. Thompson obviously in mental health. Dr. Thompson the radiologist was my mentor and I trust his opinion in Radiology over any other Radiologist. He's a good man, a honest man and his patient's relations skills are off the charts wonderful. Thank you Dr. Thompson for all you taught me.
Dr Harold Thompson is a Radiologist NOT a psychiatrist at Vanderbilt university medical center. He is one of the smartest ,most compassionate doctors I have ever met. He diagnosed my breast cancer and in all my follow up examinations was calm and reassuring. I give him 10 stars
I do not recommend Dr. Thompson for mental health issues. He made me feel like I am stupid and naive. I was feeling betrayed by someone close to me, and he questioned both the validity of the betrayal and how I hadn't figured it out earlier. At a later visit he did not recognize me, asking "who are you here to see?" when he say I was sitting in the waiting room, way past our appointment time. IF YOU ARE DEALING WITH DEPRESSION PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE. A friend of mine went to visit these doctors and after talking to her for twenty minutes she opened up about having suicidal thoughts. The "doctor" cut the conversation short by asking her if she was okay to be hospitalized. She said "No, I don't feel like isolating myself would help my condition".
