Husband had MRI in 2020 that Dr Lesser had ordered. Told area of previous cervical spinal fusion was fine only to be told by a neurosurgeon later that that was severe spinal myopathy above previous fusion and surgery was needed ASAP due to the tightening on spinal cord. It was obvious on the MRI.
Dr Lesser’s office staff is pleasant. His neuro tech is kind... makes one feel at ease during procedures. Dr. Lesser explains emg findings with clear terminology to his patient.

I was having painful feet and muscle shocks that knocked me to the floor. Was unable (still today) to get more than 30 min of sleep before being woken up in shocks and pain. This man told me I had NOTHING wrong and to return to work. I have now had 2 spinal operations. He was rude and nasty. If you like Nasty hes your guy. Stay away.
Quality of care is HORRENDOUS! Made phone calls to the office asking that the doctor call me. I was running out of medication and in pain and needed to speak with him. His PA is out on maternity leave and because of it, he is behind in contacting his patients back. That is what I was told. I called on Friday morning and received no call from him. I received no call over the weekend. I again called on Monday and received no call from him. Day 6 and still no call. I won't be going back!
I have been a patient of Dr. Lesser's for about 10 years. I have been doing well under his care. His office if clean and pleasant, a liitle farther than I'd prefere. but within reason. He is basically a down-to-business type person; He is nice and he is practical which I like but I may be ready for the warm and fuzzy more personable type. I never needed to call him for a neurologic emergency, so I can't comment how he would be.
