Put simply, this is not a good doctor. One of the most dismissive, arrogant people I have ever been put in front of, regardless of occupation. Completely disregarded a diagnoses from my primary care, acted like I was making it up, and was SO WRONG!!! I had to go back to primary to get cultures to confirm - wrong. Completely misdiagnosed and almost made my condition worse because of it.

Horrific bedside manner. Yelled at us, accused us, never gave us a chance to fully ask or answer questions. He may be a competent doctor, but I hope we never have to encounter him again. It was traumatic.

My son had been experiencing chest pain and shortness of breath. There is a history of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy on his Dad’s (4 deaths, 1 quadruple bypass and 1 heart transplant) side of the family and massive heart attacks on mine, so we tend to take things seriously. If I could leave NO stars I would. I had Dr. Harold C. Thomas, MD as my Emergency Room Doctor at BWMC last evening. Talk about arrogant, he left me feeling like what I was experiencing was insignificant and made up in my head. I had the distinct feeling he would rather had been elsewhere. Just an all over "negative" feeling is how I felt about his bedside manner.
