I have never had such a poor experience with a physician, particularly one that I chose and waited months for because she was highly rated…she was incredibly disrespectful and when she challenged me and I got teary she decided that it was a psychological issue rather than a chronic issue that seriously impacts my life. Rarely responds to portal messages, I received abnormal pathology results and have waited 1 month now for a message or phone call to discuss them despite my repeated attempts. Her provider notes are inaccurate regarding my symptoms. She fails to listen to patient concerns and can be unprofessional at times. If you see her as a provider expect long waits for an appointment, longer waits for a simple response, to be ignored during your short appointments and incorrect medical documentation.

Dr Allison is extremely thorough, careful, and spends a great deal of time getting to know the patient behind the symptoms. I found her after a series of GI drs who made recommendations that never worked for my lifestyle and needs; Dr. Allison was a refreshing change to a medical system that often forgets the person in the midst of the disease. I had to wait 2 months for an appt, but it was worth the wait.
