I had surgery last year to help my severe obstructive sleep apnea, and Dr Kuurstra was amazing, she was so nice and very helpful, especially describing everything and letting me know that things were going to feel different after surgery and what to expect (I'm nerodivergant with sensory issues) and she was amazing and made me feel very comfortable with everything. I had a follow up sleep study this year and I'm proud to say I no longer have sleep apnea! Thank you for helping me breathe. :)
I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Kuurstra’s receptionist. I reached out seeking help for persistent dizziness that’s been impacting my quality of life, and I was met with a condescending tone and dismissiveness. I was told there’s a 2-year wait, and that “everyone says that” about dizziness, which felt incredibly invalidating. Dr. Kuustra is a wonderful person, very professional and skilled in her profession and pleasant to work with, my son has improved drastically since starting his sessions with her for sinus issues and post surgery very pleased with the results. Dr.K was super friendly and easy to talk with. The office staff are friendly as well. The whole set up was comfortable. I'm glad Ingersoll Hospital referrer me to her.
