Dr Yar is patient and her explanations are clear. However she prescribed a medication which has an ingredient I am allergic to. Draw your own conclusions.
I’ve been going to Dr. Yar for years and she’s really helped keep my allergy symptoms under control. Very experienced, professional with compassion for her patients. Highly recommend for anyone with allergy issues.

My visit to her was one of my best medical experiences ever, and I usually have had good ones. She is extremely bright, highly competent, truly concerned about her patients, not rushed at all, answers all questions, displays sincere empathy, and is of a cheery disposition. She is an exceptional and extraordinary doctor. I'm so glad and fortunate that she is my allergist.
Dr. Yarmohammadi takes the time with her patients to determine the best course of action to deal with their allergy. She actively works on the symptoms instead of just prescribing decongestants to mask those symptoms.

Great Dr., unfortunately BITC! Answering the phone at the downtown office wasn't only unhelpful, but gleeful when she explained that while I HAD to come in for a visit to get my prescription filled, went on to inform me, "we'll she's booked for a long time"?! When I explained I needed my allergy pills, her response was that "it's allergy season", like I'm stupid..... no duh, you are forcing me to come in for a visit and get your copay, and I'm supposed to sneeze for a month. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Yar and the staff!!!!! The staff are great, they are always nice and courteous and really sweet. Dr. Yar goes above and beyond for her patients. When she sees that something is off with me, she gets an immediate consult and waits with me until the situation is resolved. She is truly one of the BEST doctors in NYC.
