The staff and doctor here are wonderful people very caring and attentive. I have seen my doctor several times now and he has always listened to and addressed my concerns. I had several issues with insurance not wanting to pay for a medication and they worked me into a schedule to see him for the next medication on my insurances list. I was a patient of the one and only rheumatologist at SIH, but she has since left the area. I tried to have a referral sent to see Hassane but they refused me as a patient due to being a patient of the old doctor at the practice. I’m not the first this has happened to. The poor ladies answering the questions as to “why” couldn’t give an explanation other than him wanting to serve more individuals in the community that haven’t been a patient previously. What? I met Dr Hassane for first time May 3 he was very attentive and listening and asking questions about my MTHFR and my rheumatoid arthritis. Immediately ordered labs and x-rays and then also recommended and asked me if I had ever been to a hematologist and I said I am in the process of finding a hematologist to understand exactly which gene is with the MTHFR. For a first appointment, I feel that the appointment went wonderful. He seems to be very personable and very caring.
