He tried to pressure me into a biopsy due to a slightly elevated PSA. I asked for an MRI before rushing into a biopsy and he flat out refused. I decided to repeat the PSA and it was normal. There is no regard for privacy. There are patients in folding chairs sitting right outside of the exam rooms. The office staff reading my diagnosis and asking about scheduling my 'biopsy' in front of the entire waiting room. I do not like this clinic at all.
First, I want to say I liked him BUT. I saw Dr. Lafaye for 5 years, at least 10 times, due to psa test at my PCP. Never once was I examined or spent more than 5 minutes with him after even after waiting over an hour in the exam room on my last 2 visits. My psa fluctuated during this time. I saw him 3x in 4 months. The last time I was told to come back in 6 months. 25 days later, due to moving, I saw another urologist where I was EXAMINED. I was told I had a 2cm lesion on my prostate. He and the staff showed great concern for my situation. My procedure went extremely well and I could not be happier.
Refused to accept my private insurance because they only allow 30 percent above Medicaid. Their office bills 150 percent over. Staff was rude. You wait months for an appointment and they do not confirm insurance before you go. Waisted months on this now I have to find another dr
The staff is great. Dr lafaye has been great and caring. He sometime gets in a rush but will answer your question out of 10 he is a 15j
Don’t go. They rush you in and out. He don’t even bother to ask you you have questions. He is only interested in doing procedures/surgery. Worst doctor I ever visited, and I am 64 years old
Simply horrible. They are only interested in doing a surgery. Terrible on follow up.
Dr. Lafaye has been my urologist for many yrs... He is a wonderful Dr.! Very compassionate...
