Dr. Bello was raved about & I had high expectations. Initially, I quite liked him. He was friendly. Unfortunately, the more I talked to him and the more I advocated for myself, the cheery attitude quickly soured, & it felt more dismissive & patronizing than anything. He liked saying he’s a “glass half-full kind of guy.” You can be “glass half-full” without invalidating. It came across as inauthentic. Doesn’t know anything about the field he’s in. He just wants you to do as he says and be on with it, no questions asked. If you do ask questions, instead of giving real medical advice, he preaches god and makes you out to be a bad mother for questioning him. Find someone who gives you statistics and answers, not just crack jokes to appear he’s on a personal level. He seriously needs to do more research for the career he’s in.
