Dr. Guy Klein was one of two orthopedic surgeons recommended to me by my primary care doctor (And I respect her opinion. She does her homework so I saw both plus one more surgeon). I had a total hip replacement last week by Dr. Klein. I had initial appointments with three surgeons and then went to work doing some of my own homework on reviews, techniques used and outcomes. Dr Klein has been superb to work with. Getting my hip replaced was a very positive, life changing experience. From his explanation of what was going to happen, to being able to walk without a limp within two weeks of surgery was amazing. I highly recommend Dr Klein.
Dr Klein is very kind, forthcoming and considerate. He tells you exactly what is wrong with you (he found my husband’s problem in 15 minutes after 18 months and 3 other providers). He described and told him exactly what was wrong and how he could correct it! The only drawback was we had to make an appointment with Mr. Robot which took months, and was very difficult and disappointing! Dr Klein did a fantastic job on my total hip replacement, both surgically and in preparing me for the operation with comprehensive information, exercises, and vitamin and wound-healing supplements. My recovery has been speedy and I was released from post-op physical therapy after only 4 weeks. My hip and leg feel great, and I'm very grateful to Dr Klein, his staff, and the surgery team at St Anthony Hospital.
