Just received a bill that my secondary insurance has not paid yet and they want me to pay it immediately. They obviously want to double charge for their services. I have had back surgery, abdominal surgery and several other procedures and this is the first one that I ever recieved a bill from. I would suggest you do your own research before using him. This was set up through my regular Dr. I will be calling him also.
His billing company is practicing double billing which is illegal. I was sent a bill and was requested to pay the full amount. The reason is the billing company and Dr. Cao will not wait for the insurance company to pay their portion of the bill and Dr. Cao and his billing company want me to pay the full bill but then receive the insurance payment at a later date.
